Terms of Service

First month free, no card needed. Then £55 a month, no minimum term, cancel any time. If you leave, you get your site and everything that goes with it. The rest of this page spells that out properly.

MunroStudio is a web design studio run by Euan Munro in Glasgow, Scotland. These terms cover the monthly plan and the one-off website. You accept them when you start your free month or make your first payment. Questions go to euan@munrostudio.co.uk or 07485 218 091.

What's included. A custom-designed website, hosting, local SEO and ongoing SEO work, sitemap submission, Google Business Profile setup, your Google reviews on your site, booking system integration, an admin portal, contact, quote and order forms, a weekly update on how your site is doing, and support.

Changes. Changes to your site are unlimited: text, photos, prices, services, new pages and so on. Something that amounts to a separate project, like a second website for another business, is quoted separately, and nothing extra is ever charged without you agreeing to it in writing first.

Support. Email, phone or WhatsApp. You'll get a reply within 24 hours.

I build and launch your site, and you use it for a month at no cost. No card details are taken up front. If you want to carry on, the plan moves to £55 a month. If not, just say so: you owe nothing and the site is taken offline.

The monthly plan is £55 a month, with nothing added on top. It's collected automatically through Stripe on the same date each month, starting when your free month ends.

If a payment fails I'll let you know. If it isn't sorted within 7 days, I may pause the site until it is.

If the price ever changes, you'll get at least 30 days' notice by email first, and you can cancel before it takes effect.

There's no contract, no minimum term, no notice period and no cancellation fee. Tell me by email, phone or WhatsApp that you want to cancel and no further payments are taken. You keep the service until the end of the month you've already paid for. Months already paid aren't refunded.

When you leave, you take your site with you. Within 14 days you'll get your website files and content, and any domain I manage for you is transferred to you.

£499, paid once. That covers a custom design and build, hosting by me with no monthly fee, up to 25 area pages, your Google reviews on your site, and 3 months of support after launch.

SEO work, sitemap submission and changes after those 3 months aren't included. Changes after that are quoted before any work is done, or you can move onto the monthly plan at any time to get them.

Getting a site live needs your text, photos, logo and feedback. Timelines are agreed by email before work starts, and if content or approvals come in late the launch date moves with them.

You're responsible for what your site says being accurate and lawful, and for having the rights to any photos or material you send me.

Once everything owed is paid, you own the design and content made for your site. Fonts, stock photos and other third-party pieces stay under their own licences.

I may show your finished site in my portfolio. If you'd rather I didn't, just tell me.

If something goes wrong on my side, my total liability is limited to what you've paid in the 3 months before it happened. I'm not liable for indirect losses like lost revenue or business interruption, or for outages and changes at third-party services such as Google, Stripe, Vercel or domain registrars.

How your data is handled is covered in the privacy policy. If your site collects data from your own customers, you're responsible for it having its own privacy policy and cookie notice.

These terms are governed by Scots law, and any dispute goes to the Scottish courts. If they change, you'll get at least 30 days' notice by email first. These terms, plus anything we agree in writing about your project, are the full agreement between us.
