Privacy Policy

MunroStudio is a one-person web design studio run by Euan Munro, based in Glasgow. If you have any question about your data, email euan@munrostudio.co.uk or call 07485 218 091 and you'll get a straight answer from the person who actually holds it.

Enquiries. If you fill in the contact form, message on WhatsApp, or call, we keep your name, contact details and whatever you tell us about the work you need. That's used to reply to you and, if you become a client, to run the job.

Onboarding details. If you start a project, we keep the business information you send (logo, photos, services, opening hours) for as long as we host and maintain your site.

Site usage. Covered in the next section.

Cookieless analytics, always on. We use Vercel Web Analytics to see which pages get visited and how fast the site loads. It sets no cookies, uses no persistent identifier, and doesn't identify you.

Google Analytics, only if you accept. If you accept via the cookie banner, we additionally load Google Analytics for more detail on which pages lead to enquiries. It sets cookies (such as _ga) to recognise returning visitors. It only loads after you accept, never before. Decline and it is never loaded at all.

Advertising measurement. We run Google Ads and the site carries Google's conversion tag so we can tell which ads lead to enquiries. This may set cookies. We don't use it to build advertising profiles or sell anything about you.

To change your choice, clear this site's data in your browser and reload the page. The banner will ask again.

We use a small number of providers, each getting only what it needs to do its job:

• Vercel: hosting and cookieless analytics
• Neon: the database behind the client portal
• Resend: sending enquiry and notification emails
• Google: Analytics (on consent), Ads measurement, and Business Profile reviews

We don't sell your data, and we don't share it with anyone not on that list.

Enquiries that don't turn into work are deleted within about a year. Client records are kept for as long as we work together, then for six years afterwards because HMRC requires it for anything tied to invoicing. Analytics data is retained for 14 months.

Under UK GDPR you can ask for a copy of what we hold, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Email euan@munrostudio.co.uk and it'll be handled within 30 days, usually a lot sooner. If you think we 've got it wrong you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.
